First Aid Crime Prevention ~ Emergency Preparedness

nationally certified trainers and a training process that is based upon a proven instructional design theory and
practice which utilizes “hearing, seeing, doing, speaking, and feeling” methodology to create student-centered
learning and a low-stress learning environment.

First Aid Training
First aid course participants will learn to recognize the signs
and symptoms of injuries and sudden illness in adults. Crucial information about how to deal with emergencies like shock,
burns, strains, strokes and seizures is shared. This
first aid training program was reviewed by and meets the guidelines of various private and public entities. It has also
been accepted for training day care personnel in all states.2.5 hours Participants: Community
minded individuals who require or desire elementary first aid knowledge and skills for all ages - including emergency response
teams in churches and other organizations.
CPR Training CPR/AED course students learn how to recognize a life-threatening emergency, how to provide basic life support and
what to do in the case of an airway obstruction or choking in adults and children. The course is based upon the most
recent guidelines for cardiopulmonary resuscitation and emergency cardiac care. This CPR course includes AED (Automated external defibrillator) training.
2.5 hours Participants: People desire to have CPR knowledge and skills, such as emergency
response teams in churches, childcare workers, family members and others.
Wilderness First Aid Training Wilderness
First Aid is an intensive 8- to 10-hour course for those who would like to learn about more care options
than minimum first aid provides. This course is geared toward anyone who may be in an area where advanced medical
care is not readily available. This course may also meet the needs of volunteers and professionals who lead groups on short
trips in relatively low-risk situations. Participants: Outdoor enthusiasts,
volunteers, group leaders, those who want to be proactive in helping others.

Emergency Preparedness Training
Learn about the different types of
natural (floods, tornadoes, draught, earthquakes, fires, temperature extremes, and man-made (riots, terrorism, acts of war,
accidents, fires intentionally set), and how to deal with each in a proactive way. The Emergency Preparedness Program
helps you to prepare for an unexpected event and devise a strategy that encompasses the necessary steps that must be taken
before, during, and after the occurrence. Participants:
Group leaders, family members, all who want to be proactive helping others rather than reactive.
